Blackhawk Technical College

Manufacturing Matters Now. Your donation…

Costs to renovate and purchase the facility total $13.72 million with $11.6 million from bond financing and approximately $2.12 million from private gifts. The facility is currently being leased by the college; however the full cost includes the projection of building ownership. BTC seeks to move forward with the full acquisition of the property, reducing operational overhead costs associated with the current lease.

The AMTC reflects the new modernized face of manufacturing, with more than 100,000 square feet of lab and classroom space. The training center embodies the shift in industry with a bright and appealing learning environment—focused on use of intelligent systems and advanced automation.

Blackhawk Technical College will create class-after-class of well trained, highly skilled and innovative employees for area industries. BTC is investing in the future of manufacturing because Manufacturing Matters Now.
